This page explains the cookies and similar identifiers used by affreedom.org, the Affreedom Research workspace, and the landing pages reached from my Google Search ads. It sits alongside the privacy policy.
affreedom.org (this documentation site)
No advertising or tracking cookies are set. The publishing software may set a session cookie if someone signs in to administer the site; that applies to the operator, not to visitors.
The workspace
A single session cookie, set after login, which keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the workspace to function, is not used for advertising, and is removed when the session ends.
Landing pages reached from my ads
| What | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
Google click identifier (gclid), carried in the ad’s URL | To tell which ad produced a result, and to match a confirmed affiliate sale back to the ad that caused it | 12 months |
| Aggregated analytics | Traffic totals and trends. Not used to identify individuals | Aggregates kept longer; no individual records |
| Affiliate network identifiers | Set by the network once you click through to a merchant, to credit the referral | Governed by that network’s own policy |
The click identifier is not combined with a name, email address or any other identifying detail, and is not sold or shared with third parties beyond Google for conversion measurement.

Browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so does not stop you reading this site. Google’s own advertising controls are at myadcenter.google.com. To ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted, write to xuanhinh.affiliate@gmail.com.
