Everything the workspace stores is about a business and its public offer. It holds no personal data about consumers.
Affiliate programmes
| Field | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Brand name, merchant website | Network API |
| Commission rate and payout tiers | Network API — the published terms, or my own contract where the network exposes it |
| Cookie duration | Network API |
| Regions where promotion is permitted | Network API |
| Deep linking allowed, and permitted domains | Network API |
| Programme description written by the merchant | Network API |
| Category / niche | Network API where published; otherwise matched from another record for the same domain and marked as inferred |
| My relationship with the programme (joined, pending, not joined) | Network API, recorded per account |
One network does not publish a category field at all through its API. Rather than leave the column empty or invent a value, the workspace fills it from another record for the same merchant domain and flags it so the two are never confused.
Merchant websites
- Affiliate platform detection — which affiliate software a store runs on, read from the store’s own public pages.
- Public review score — the merchant’s rating and review count on a public consumer review site.
- Traffic estimate — a third-party estimate of monthly visits. An estimate, not a measurement, and treated as a rough size signal only.
- Published deals and coupon codes — the offers a store shows publicly.
Advertising research
- Keyword demand — search volume and bid ranges for terms related to a merchant, from the Google Ads API.
- Campaign and keyword performance — for my own Google Ads accounts only: impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and the search terms that triggered my ads.
- Spend against budget — today and month to date, so overspend shows up the same day.
What it deliberately does not hold
- No consumer names, emails, addresses or payment details.
- No data about anyone else’s Google Ads accounts.
- No scraped content republished anywhere — the workspace is a reading tool, and its pages are behind a login.
